MaryEllen Levine DNP, WHNP-BC, CNM began her career in women’s health in 1991 at The Women’s Group for OB/GYN, when it was founded by Dr. Wendy Martinez. She started out as a medical assistant while in nursing school at Helene Fuld School of Nursing. It was during this time that she realized women’s healthcare was where she belonged! She continued to pursue her love for the specialty by working at Virtua Hospital in labor and delivery as a staff nurse and then in management. It was here that she decided to advance her nursing education so that she could realize her goal of becoming a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife.
MaryEllen received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Drexel University graduating Magna Cum Laude. Soon after, she went on to Rutgers University and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and is now board certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife.
MaryEllen recently joined Advocare The Women’s Group for OB/GYN, she considers it a privilege to be able to care for women across the healthcare continuum, from adolescence through menopause and beyond.
